To ensure the dismantling of the exhibition proceeds as smoothly as possible, please observe the following information.

STAND BUILDERS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK UNTIL MIDNIGHT TO DISMANTLE & PACK UP THEIR FREIGHT. If you would like to work throughout the night, permission must be granted by the Organiser. 

• Move-out of product will begin 30min after the event closes, or once clear of visitors and it is safe to do so.
• Loading dock access will open from approx. 1830 and will be heavily controlled by GEL Events.
• If you need access to the loading dock, make sure you book a time slot with GEL Events. No slot, no access.
• For car park access, use the lifts at Doors 1, 6 & 10 which provide access directly from the exhibition bays.
• Shell Scheme Stands must be completely moved out by 2200 Thursday 5 September. NO EXCEPTIONS
• Tailgate vehicle access is ONLY between 0000 – 0700 Friday 6 Sept. If this is not adhered to, delays will be experienced at the exhibitor’s expense.
• Space Only Stands 18m² or smaller, must be completely moved out by 1000 Friday 6 September. NO EXCEPTIONS
• Space Only Stands 27m² or larger, must be completely moved out by 1800 Friday 6 September. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• If you are unable to remove your entire product/stand by the time above, please contact the Organiser.
• Delays are often experienced on the loading dock during build up and breakdown.
• Safety vests must be worn during the move out and can be collected from the loading dock doors.
  Please remember to return your vest when you are about to leave the site. 
• Power to the stands will be switched off 2 hours after the show closes THE ORGANISERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ALTER THE ABOVE TIMES

• We anticipate delays on the dock during move-out. The above times are an approximate guide only. 
• The dock will be closed to all vehicles until approx. 5:30 PM and will be heavily controlled by GEL 
• Timings above are the parameters in which the move out schedule works, and is managed by GEL  
• Please book in a time with GEL to be accommodated within the timings listed above to avoid delays  
• On Thursday 5th & Friday 6th, a Traffic Management company will be controlling access to the venue.
  Please direct your driver to the holding lane on Normandy Road (west bound) and not to head straight to the MCEC loading gate (your driver may be asked to turn around). This holding lane has been put in place to save you/your driver waiting time and avoid any issues with Victoria Police.  
• Small vehicles are recommended to use the car park below, and handheld items only may be taken out the front concourse doors. Trolleys are not permitted on the concourse at MCEC.  

• Safety Vests must be worn during move out. Move out will not commence until all visitors have left the venue and all exhibitors are wearing a safety vest;
• Trolleys are permitted on the concourse and can be taken through the front doors during move out;
• No open toe shoes are permitted to be worn during move out. Please ensure appropriate footwear is worn by all staff dismantling your stand otherwise you will be asked to leave;
• Children 15 years of age and under will not be allowed in the pavilions or loading dock during Move Out. No exceptions;
• Consumption of alcohol is prohibited during move out. Move out will not commence until all consumption has ceased.

Move Out will not commence and the loading dock doors will not be opened until these precautions are complied with.  Failure to adhere to these instructions will result in a slower move out for all.

Power to the stands will be switched off half an hour after the show closes, please make sure all transactions reliant on power are completed by this time.

For security purposes it is recommended that all valuable, portable items, product and stand dressing materials are removed from the exhibition halls by 8:00pm Thursday  5 September.  Please ensure all items are removed from hired furniture as it will be removed overnight.
